Finding and sharing local history in Devon

We are a small, well organised club of hobby detectorists and history enthusiasts who enjoy great relations with local landowners, authorities and the general public.Limited to 30 members we have a lengthy 18 month waiting list but please do contact us to find out more!We hold our monthly meeting on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at The Cat & Fiddle Pub Clyst St Mary near Exeter at 7.00pm. We hold regular digs across Devon thanks to local landowners and farmers.All members are registered with the NCMD and ensure they have the right equipment ie detector, headphones, pinpointer etc.We always leave the land as we find it and treat it with maximum respect.All significant finds are recorded by the Finds Liason Officer and viewable on the Portable Antiquities Scheme site.
